About Me
I am an artist and painter based in Vienna, Austria, painting worlds I want to live in, inviting viewers to step in, explore, and maybe, just maybe, find a little nook where they too would love to linger awhile.

If you look closely, you’ll spot a little rocket in the sky in most of my paintings, that’s almost become my artistic signature – a little nod to my childhood dreams.
Ever since I was a tiny, little version of who I am now, I wanted to be an artist. A pilot painter in fact. I imagined having an airplane that also functioned as a studio, so I could paint wherever I wanted in the world. A flying art studio.
Alas, reality kept my studio grounded, yet I aim for my art to momentarily carry people away for a few precious seconds. So that little rocket is not only a playful reminder to my childhood dreams but also connects each of my pieces to a larger narrative, and reminding me (and hopefully others) to keep reaching for the stars and pursuing our dreams.
My aspiration to become an artist is actually grounded on earth, and took roots in my grandpa’s home studio. In those cherished hours, we'd lose ourselves sketching away, drawing, playing with paint and exploring different styles and mediums. It was in this cozy, little corner of the world amidst the smell of paints and the clutter of brushes, that my love for art and painting truly developed. Surrounded by drawing, painting, and rich colours, it was there that I first explored the various styles and mediums and learned the importance of play and exploration, setting the foundation for the work I create today.
This passion led me eventually to the University for Applied Arts, Vienna, where I honed my technical skills and graduated with honours with a Master’s Degree. My artistic education centred around the art of idea generation and concepts, an approach that continues to hold a central role in my creative practice, shaping the very essence of my artistic expression.
My work begins and ends with storytelling, a thread that weaves through every project I undertake. These narratives, sometimes overt with clear storylines and at other times subtle, inviting personal interpretation and introspection, form the backbone of my creative process.
Much like the days spent in my grandpa's studio, my art is fuelled by a love for diverse mediums. While acrylics are now my primary choice, the experimentation and versatility of those early experiences remain integral to my work. My technique encompasses a variety of analogue mediums, predominantly acrylics, and also ranging from gouache, watercolours, and pencils, to oil pastels, to create loose and colourful works. Colour serves as my eternal muse, inspiring these stories to unfold and I find myself in an endless quest for new and intriguing colour combinations.
Ultimately, this leads to the heart of my artistic intention: an invitation to escape. I want people to find comfort in what I make. Escapism lies at the heart of my art, a deliberate effort to craft worlds that provide respite from reality, seeking to offer both escape and comfort.
I often embed little Easter eggs within my paintings, clues that reference previous works or foreshadow future ones. This practice emphasises that every piece is part of a larger, interconnected world, waiting to be explored. Together, all these elements construct the fabric of my imagined universe, where all of my work lives in.
Each piece is a portal into this universe, inviting viewers to step in, explore, and maybe, just maybe, find a little nook where they too would love to linger awhile.
