Commission Process

INITIAL INQUIRY

If you are interested in commissioning a custom painting, you can either reserve one of the standard studio sizes directly via the shop or submit an inquiry for a custom project.

Standard commission sizes currently available:
20 × 30 cm – €600
40 × 60 cm – €1350
50 × 70 cm – €1950
60 × 90 cm – €3000

For custom dimensions or projects beyond these options, please fill out the commission inquiry form, and I will respond within 1-3 business days with further details and availability.

QUESTIONAIRE

After your order is confirmed, you'll get a questionnaire to fill out with details like your favourite books, cherished objects, and possible photos of the items you'd like to see in the painting. I will interpret these elements in my artistic style, creating a captivating and meaningful composition.

Concept Sketch

Once I've gathered all the necessary information, I'll create a coloured sketch for your approval. This is your opportunity to provide feedback and ensure the direction aligns with your vision before I start painting.

Starting the Painting

Based on the approved sketch, I will begin creating your custom still-life painting, interpreting the elements in my artistic style.

Updates, Previews & Finalisation

I will keep you updated on the progress of your painting with occasional previews if desired.
Once the painting is completed, the artwork will be signed and dated

Delivery

Your custom painting will be carefully packaged and shipped to your provided address. You will receive shipping details, including tracking information, once the painting is dispatched.

Custom Sizes & Special Projects

For dimensions or concepts beyond the standard formats listed above, pricing is determined individually based on size, material, and complexity. After you submit your request, I will provide a detailed quote based on your specifications.

Payment Options

A reservation deposit secures your selected start month and is credited toward the total price.

The remaining balance is due at the beginning of the scheduled start month. Work commences once full payment has been received.

For particularly large-scale or highly specialised projects, alternative payment arrangements may be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

No Refunds

Please note that there are no refunds.
Each commission is a highly personalised and custom piece created specifically for you based on your unique inputs, making it non-refundable.

Delivery Time

Please keep in mind that custom pieces typically take 4-16 weeks to complete, depending on the size and complexity.

The 4-16 week timeframe begins once you have submitted the custom questionnaire with all necessary details (e.g., photos, favourite objects, etc.). Delays in completing the questionnaire will extend the completion time.

Rush Option

If you have a specific deadline or need your piece by a certain date (for example, an event or gift), I may be able to offer you a rush option, depending on my current schedule. Please indicate this on the form, and I will discuss potential timelines. Just a heads up, there are additional fees associated with this option.

Gift Option

If the painting is a gift, I will send a follow-up email to the recipient. Upon purchase, you will be prompted to include their contact information and a gift message. (You can choose to have the painting shipped directly to the recipient or your own address.)

Material Options

The paintings are available on either archival 300lb arches, cold-pressed watercolour paper, or cotton canvas (stretched or unstretched). Stretched canvas comes ready to hang, while unstretched canvas is great if you want to have it framed or stretched later.

Standard sizes are available via the studio shop.

For custom dimensions beyond the listed formats, size preferences can be discussed during the inquiry process. You have complete freedom to choose the size that fits your space and vision— simply type in your preferred dimensions in the size box in the form below.
